Soybeans
Soybean, (Glycine max), also called soya bean, is an annual legume of the pea family and its edible seed.
The soybean is economically the most important bean in the world, providing vegetable protein for millions of people and ingredients for hundreds of chemical products.
Soybean Cultivation
This involves the various activities associated with the production of soybean, from planting through to post harvest activities.
Pan Africana, in conjunction with its Partners, successfully cultivated 200 Hectares of Organic soybean in Bokkos L.G.A, Plateau State in 2021, and has brokered, facilitated, aggregated and exported over 3,000 Metric Tonnes both locally, and to Europe and the United States, over the past 4 years.
Soybean Processing
This involves the utilization of preparation, extraction, oil recovery and refining processes in a Mill into the following products:
- Crude Soya Oil
- Refined Soya Oil
- Soybean Meal
- Soy Hulls
- Soap Stock
This is usually carried out in a processing mill which includes an expeller, solvent extraction and refining plant.
Pan Africana has begun the implementation of its plan to expand its footprint in the Nigerian Soybean commodity sector, by establishing a 100MT per day Soya / Oil Bean Processing Plant, and the local sales and export of Refined Soya oil and Soya Meal in 2023.
Value-added products
Pan Africana’s integrated business model includes soybean processing, vegetable oil refining, animal feed production, and agricultural products & grain marketing.
SESAME
The sesame plant, Sesamum indicum, also known locally as beni-seed, produces seeds that contain protein, fiber and healthy fats, as well as providing calcium, B vitamins, Vitamin E and antioxidants.
Sesame Cultivation
This involves the various activities associated with the production of sesame, from planting through to post harvest activities.
Pan Africana, in conjunction with its Partners, is currently (2022) cultivating 1,500 Hectares of Organic sesame in Nasarawa and Adamawa States for export, and has brokered, facilitated, aggregated and exported over 100,000 Metric Tonnes both locally, and to Europe, China and the United States, over the past 10 years.
Sesame Processing
This involves the utilization of preparation, extraction, oil recovery and refining processes of sesame in a Mill into the following products:
- Edible Sesame Oil
- Sesame Meal
- Sesame Hulls

Other Agricultural Commodities in which Pan Africana and its partners are involved include:
- Tigernuts (Has successfully exported over 8,000 Metric Tonnes of Tigernuts over the past 7 years).
- Ginger (Has successfully exported 1,560 Metric Tonnes of Ginger over the past 7 years).
- Hibiscus, popularly referred to as Zobo leaves (Has successfully exported over 2,000 Metric Tonnes over the past 4 years).
- Pepper (Has successfully exported over 1,000 Metric Tonnes over the past 3 years)
